Small business ideas are plentiful but not so much for new business ideas. Almost all businesses operate in a marketplace that has existed for hundreds of years. Maybe technology has allowed new businesses to be created that a) didn't exist 20 years ago and the idea was just that 20 years ago but new ideas for businesses are few! Google for example. Can you Imagine describing the concept of Google as a search engine 'an internet library' that displayed ads for pennies that would become one of the largest corpoarate enterprises in history. Bigger than oil ! Now that is a new Idea, if it was novel back before it was launched it's now the initiator of 1000's of new business Ideas. However small your business idea is before it is put into production your small business can only grow once started.
There are only so many new ideas you can come up with before you realise that new ideas are all too often not new! Ideas that are worth investing in are generally not new! New ideas rarely make it to production at least not without a patent!

Before Investing in an Idea it would be worth looking into Market Inights. You or anyone can quite ably do this using a combination of common sense and data openly available from the Internet. Or you can ask very specific questions and have data supplied from market research companies. The data they produce can act almost as a crystal ball! Who doesn't love an Insight to the future.
I isn't just for insight we almost certainly wouldn't have it without hindsight and experience. I is inherently for many things we infuse our life with. To pick just one word or one service to help our business grow would be near impossible. But if there was just one what would it be ?
